Who We Are
After years of working in the industry for other companies, Brad established Buttonwood Communications in 2010.
The name “Buttonwood” derives from a street in Dorchester, MA. My family has a lot of roots on that street and it’s where my grandparents established their business. From the day I was born, my grandparents were essentially self-employed so I’ve always had that itch myself. We’ve had a lot of family living on Buttonwood Street over the years, and while no one is there any longer, I have a lot of fond memories. When trying to think of a name for the business, it just felt right.
As the founder of Buttonwood Communications, I am proud to have built a business that is dedicated to providing exceptional service and craftsmanship in the technology integration industry. My journey in this industry began years ago when I started as an apprentice to a master electrician before moving on to a position as an entry-level Field Technician with a larger Custom AV Integration company. Over time, I envisioned creating a company that could provide clients with a more personalized and innovative approach to technology integration while keeping overhead low. I wanted to deliver on complex technology solutions while not having 6 layers of personnel between client and business owner. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to these challenges and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of customer service and support. With this vision in mind, I started Buttonwood Communications in 2010.

FOUNDER
At Buttonwood Communications, our Founder and President is a hands-on leader who is involved in all aspects of the business, from sales and design to installation and operations. With over 15 years of experience in the technology integration industry, he is known for his technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service. As a highly skilled designer, he is responsible for creating custom solutions for our clients, working closely with architects, contractors, and interior designers to ensure that every project meets our clients' unique needs and preferences. He is also involved in the installation process, overseeing every aspect of the project to ensure that it is completed to the highest standards of quality and functionality. In addition to his design and installation work, he is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business, managing our team of technicians and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of customer service and support.

He has experience from initial setup to final configuration. In addition to his field work, he is also a skilled system programmer, responsible for configuring and programming the complex systems we install. His programming skills allow us to customize every installation to meet our clients' unique needs, providing innovative solutions that enhance their home or business.
